Our Insurance Alternative

At Britt Dental Center, we understand the need for affordable dental care for everyone, and in an effort to encourage good dental health for all, we have developed the Britt Dental Care dental savings plan as an alternative to dental insurance. Britt Dental Care is for our patients who do not have dental coverage through any third-party insurance or find that our plan costs are less than their current dental coverage plan. This is not dental insurance and your program benefits are only available for use at Britt Dental Center.

Our dental savings plan provides benefits for the full scope of treatment at an affordable price to help minimize the cost of your dental needs. It also offers portability; you are not tied to any one employer. This is your plan and it follows you regardless of who you or your spouse work for during the year. There are no monthly premiums deducted from your paycheck for limited dental insurance. With Britt Dental Care, simply pay one low annual premium and you’ll receive free preventative care including exams, cleanings, and x-rays for the 12-month period, as well as a discount on your dental work.

Unlike a dental insurance plan, there are no deductibles and no waiting periods. Enrolling in the Britt Dental Care savings plan gives you the opportunity to obtain your dental treatment exclusively at our practice for reduced fees. Our plan cannot be combined with dental insurance or other reduced fee dental plans.

Adult Plan: 

Age 15 and over

The Adult Plan Includes:

  • 2 Exams / 12 months (New Patient or Periodic Exam)
  • 2 Dental Cleanings / 12 months
  • Bitewing X-Rays (1 set / 12 months)
  • Panoramic X-Ray (1 / 36 months)
  • Diagnostic X-Rays (as needed or as determined by Doctor)
  • Up to 2 additional Periodontal Cleanings $100 each / 12 months
  • Children under age 3 included with Adult Plan

 

Child Plan:

Ages 3-14

The Child Plan Includes:

  • 2 Exams / 12 months (New Patient or Periodic Exam)
  • 2 Dental Cleanings / 12 months
  • Bitewing X-Rays (1 set / 12 months)
  • Fluoride Treatment (1 / 12 months)
  • Panoramic X-Ray (1 / 36 months › age 7)
  • Diagnostic X-Rays (as needed or as determined by Doctor)

Enrollment in either Adult or Child Plan comes with the added benefit of a 15% discount on all other in-office services, including implants and cosmetic dentistry that are often excluded from coverage by many dental insurance policies.

Other In-Office Services Offered at a 15% Discount

 

Limitations and Exclusions

  • In-office dental products, teeth whitening, and Invisalign® are excluded from the 15% discount.
  • Participation cannot be used in conjunction with a dental insurance policy and cannot be combined with any other discount or financing including CareCredit®.
  • Annual premiums for each family member are non-refundable, even if the plan benefits are not fully utilized during the participation period. No refunds will be given for cancellations.
  • Enrollment date begins on the first date of use and provides coverage for 12 months to the date. Enrollment is available on a yearly basis only. The program renews each year and the current applicable annual premium must be paid on the renewal date for benefits to renew. Rates are subject to change annually.
  • Program benefits may only be applied to work performed at Britt Dental Center and cannot be applied to any specialist to whom we refer. They will not honor this discount.
  • Any cost associated with dental treatment is expected to be paid in full at the time of service to receive the 15% discount. Any service not paid for at the time of service will be billed at our standard non-discounted rate.
  • The included exams, x-rays, cleanings, and fluoride treatment must occur within the 12-month period of enrollment and cannot be carried over to the next enrollment period.
  • It is the patient's/parent's responsibility to make and keep appointments for his/her family members. A broken appointment fee of $50 per 60 minutes scheduled will be incurred for each broken appointment without a 24-hour advance notice.
  • Plans are not transferable to another party or uncovered family members.
  • All fees shall be based on our practice's usual, customary, and reasonable fees, which are subject to change, and not any other dental insurance plan's fees.
  • This plan cannot be used in Workers’ Compensation Treatment Plans or with any dental treatment needed as a result of injury where a lawsuit is involved.
  • Benefit coverage is effective for participants who remain enrolled in the plan throughout the entire duration of recommended treatment. If enrollment expires before treatment is completed, coverage or discounts on procedures are no longer available.
