The good news is the Britt Dental Team may be able to prescribe a custom-made Bite Splint or night guard, which offsets the pain caused by bruxing or grinding your teeth. A night guard is a proactive step to protect your existing healthy teeth. A clear, thin removable device, your custom-made bite splint is worn over your lower or upper teeth as you sleep.
 

Athletic Guards

You should use a mouth guard during any activity that could result in a blow to the face or mouth. We can make a custom fitted mouth guard for you that can help prevent broken teeth and injuries to the lips, tongue, face or jaw. A custom made mouth guard will stay in place much better than the boil and bite mouth guards you can get from sporting goods stores, and you will be able to breathe and talk more normally.
